Connect Groups are a great opportunity to connect with others around a variety of interests, across our cities and regions.

Connect Groups usually meet at least once a month. They include a whole range of interests; sports, crafts, hobbies, leisure & professional interests, and not forgetting food!

    Bring and share our love for food and drink from all around the world! Including "Come dine with me" like dinners, bring and share events, tasting sessions and much more! We would absolutely love people who can cook, bake, experiment or just if you want to taste and try different foods and drinks. May sometimes be themed, e.g. different culture or food groups.

    "Paws to Connect" meets fortnightly on a Saturday at Ferry Meadows for KingsGate dogs and their friends to come along with their well-behaved humans to have a walk, maybe chase a ball (dogs), have a chat (humans) and finish with a treat for all at the Water Sports Coffee Shop.

    Meeting monthly for all with an interest in gardens and a desire to visit gardens of all types, from grand houses to small cottages, individual gardens and open days. We look for ideas and inspiration, combined with an opportunity to sit (over refreshments) and discuss all that we see.

Craft Connect Groups

  • Jewellry Makers - Parnwell

    Meeting on the first Thursday each month 10am to 12noon. Learn how to make your own colourful, unique jewellery in our friendly small group. Aimed at the beginner, we will gently lead you from making simple, stretchy bracelets to macrame, kumihimo and simple wire work. At each meeting a kit will be provided containing everything you need (cost will be no more than £4). Of course, there will be plenty of time to chat over coffee and cake.
